Panic Disorder Recovery Treatments

Panic disorders are an extremely disabling mental health issue for those who suffer from them, and can lead to social withdrawal and the avoidance of any public activity associated with prior feelings of panic, or that causes these feelings to arise. Like a snowball effect, this reclusion can then lead to more severe and debilitating concurrent mental health disorders, such as agoraphobia or panic attacks. The latter is one of the most disabling factors of a panic disorder, and can occur at any point during adult life. These episodes usually come on quickly and can last upwards of 30 minutes, causing severe physical and mental strain, exhibiting symptoms such as rapid heart beat, sweating, trembling, and shortness of breath.

At Trafalgar Residence, we want to help you to understand and take control of the disabling effects of this disorder, through the use of our unique therapy programs and individual counselling sessions. The comfortable, private nature of our facility will help you to reconnect with yourself and others while you undergo a treatment program decided on by you and our experienced staff.

Support for you and your family is our top priority and we want to help you get your life back on track as soon as possible.
